5 Year Warranty
In the event of a fault or defect in manufacturing within 12 months of the date of purchase we will repair or replace completely free of charge.
Please note … faults resulting from misuse will not be covered by this offer.
If a fault is discovered or appears after the first 12 months but within the 5 year warranty period the Odd Mattress Company will have the right and discretion to repair or to replace the product, charging you for one fifth of the current retail price multiplied by the number of years you have owned the bed.
The Odd Mattress Company reserves the right to refuse this offer if the defect is caused by misuse or where the product has become soiled, insanitary or due to excessive wear and tear.
Where the divan base only or the mattress only is replaced the Odd Mattress Company will endeavour to match the fabric but reserves the right to substitute alternative material.
The use of one of our mattresses on a slatted base which is unable to offer full support to the mattress will invalidate your warranty. Find out more about bed bases here.
We would strongly recommend that you consider replacing your divan base when you purchase a new mattress as they are designed to complement each other in terms of structure and support. The use of a new mattress upon an old or distorted base could substantially reduce the life of your new mattress, compromise comfort levels and will invalidate your warranty.
Refunds on custom made mattresses and divan bases
Mattresses and bases made to a customer’s specific sizes or design are deemed to be custom made/made to order.
When we custom make mattresses or bases for you, they are manufactured specifically for you and to your specification, this means we are not obliged to accept back custom made items unless faulty.
Distance selling regulations do not apply to custom made/made to order mattresses and bed bases, therefore they are not eligible for exchange or refund unless they are faulty.
Orders for custom made/made to order mattresses and bed bases cannot be refunded, cancelled or returned.
Incorrect measurements by customers
If you have given us incorrect measurements we may agree if appropriate to make you a new mattress/ base which you pay for in full prior to manufacture. We will then endeavour to sell your incorrectly measured mattress/base on your behalf for a period of 12 months.
If we sell your mattress/base we will refund you the monies minus collection/delivery and a 20% re-selling fee. If after 12 months the mattress/base has not sold we will give you the option of returning the mattress/base or disposal. In either case you will be charged for delivery or disposal.
